
More than 100 locals in 30 boats gathered in Bay de Loup, a fjord in south Newfoundland, to protest the expansion of salmon farming in the area. The “Draw the Line” event, which took place on Aug. 10, 2025, was organized, in part, by the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
