Günter Feuerstein
Günter Feuerstein lives in Switzerland where he works as a teacher and runs an international fly fishing school (UFC©). During the last decade he has brought a lot of input into the international fly casting scene.
Günter is known to have developed several trick casts and techniques which have found their way into modern fly fishing with one-handed and also two-handed rods. In 2007 he was elected president of the European Fly Fishing Association(EFFA). He is an EFFA Master Flycasting Instructor and has been demonstrating and teaching fly casting from the west of the USA to the East of Russia. He has trained many of Europe’s outstanding fly casting instructors personally.
Besides his love for teaching fly casting he has also produced several films about fly fishing and fishery biology. Günter especially likes fishing for spooky trout in the Montana, Idaho and the Yellowstone, for pacific salmon and trout in Russia and for specimen grayling and the huge Danube Salmon (Hucho Hucho) in the large Austrian rivers.
